What a better way to begin married life than with a real adventure? A honeymoon is often the most memorable and carefully-chosen holiday that a couple will ever take, and a honeymoon safari organized by us will not disappoint. It is absolutely the best way to start the lifetime journey of marriage.
Imagine the excitement of setting out at dawn on your first game drive, full of anticipation and in awe of your surroundings, and the thrill of first setting eyes on a magnificent African wildlife! On safari, you will get one of the best romance moments of your life. Luxury accommodation, thrilling game drives and walking safaris followed by romantic special sundowners, private moonlit or candlelit dinners and wild nights in the bush are just a few of the highlights that make a Zambian safari honeymoon so memorable.
You will find your driver waiting for you at Livingstone International Airport who will welcome and transfer you to your lodge
Victoria Falls is one of the world's most spectacular locations. Imagine celebrating your wedding, renewing your vows or commemorating an anniversary on the very edge of the Falls. The Tongabezi team is ready to lavish attention on every tailor made detail. Your wedding day will begin with a registry ceremony at Livingstone City offices, followed by a unique blessing from a local pastor. We cater for small or large groups and can arrange suitable accommodation for all of your guests in the local area. Expert staff at Tongabezi will take care of all the arrangements including the legalities required by the registry office (yes a Zambian marriage is legal and accepted throughout the world). We arrange a priest for the blessing, the order of service (if required), plus flowers, menus, cakes, guest gifts, the choir, professional photography and other local entertainment such as a DJ or local dancers. Sindabezi Island is unique - the discerning traveller's best kept secret. An idyllic, exclusive camp on our very own private isle on the Zambezi River, it is the only luxury bush camp from where Victoria Falls can comfortably be explored. Experience the large number of activities in the area during the day and return to a tranquil haven, a thousand light years away from the bustle at night. Fodor’s consider Sindabezi one of the top 10 eco lodges in Africa. There are only five open-sided thatched Chalets on the entire island, allowing guests to soak up the sights and sounds of a pristine African bush setting. Views across the flood plains of the Zambezi and into the nearby National Park complete the experience.
